How Is Professional Teeth Whitening Performed?
At present, our office provides two distinct professional whitening services: in-office treatments and custom-made trays.
For in-office treatments, we begin by safeguarding sensitive areas inside the mouth, such as the lips and gums, to prevent exposure to peroxide. Subsequently, a high-concentration hydrogen peroxide gel is applied directly onto the teeth and activated. You'll then rest comfortably for a brief period while the gel takes effect. Following this, we remove the coverings and rinse away the gel.
With custom-made trays, we'll create personalized molds of your teeth to craft clear trays for home use, along with a whitening gel. These trays serve to minimize the risk of the whitening gel affecting your gums or mouth, allowing you to whiten your teeth from the comfort of your home. Simply apply the whitening gel inside the trays and place them in your mouth.
